Objective Theory

Each piece begins with something tangible from the real world - a physical object, body part, specific location. Capturing this raw base material is performative in nature, as I grapple with the physical reality of my chosen subject, and the inherent materiality of the related process of documentation.

Through various mediums, I translate the raw material into a digital render, creating a slow, hypnotic glitch. Thematically, the work moves between loss, longing, and hope, veering towards an elegy for soon-to-be obsolete modes of creation in the age of AI, and also a celebration of today's supercharged innovation. This is an ongoing body of work. Select pieces have been exhibited at Scope Art Fair during Miami Art Week (2023).
